Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BADEXY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC (“BADEXY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you access or use the SeizureSense AI mobile and web application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Important Health & Safety Notice

SeizureSense AI is a consumer wellness and personal-safety tool. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and has not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory body. The Service may fail to detect events, may produce false alerts, and must not be relied upon as a sole means of medical monitoring or emergency response. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and (optionally) your name.
  • Profile and emergency contacts: names, phone numbers, email addresses, and relationships of people you designate to be notified during a possible event.
  • Sensor and motion data: accelerometer, gyroscope, heart-rate, and related motion signals captured by your phone or paired smartwatch, used to detect potential seizure-like events. Raw signals are processed on-device or in our backend for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
  • Event logs: timestamps, detection metadata, location (if you grant permission), device state, and any notes you add to an event.
  • Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, application version, language, IP address, crash reports, and diagnostic logs.
  • Billing data: subscription status and identifiers issued by our payment processors. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send to support and your responses to surveys or feedback prompts.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To detect possible seizure-like events and to send alerts and notifications to you and your designated emergency contacts.
  • To authenticate you and secure your account.
  • To process subscriptions, billing, and customer-support requests.
  • To improve detection accuracy, monitor performance, and develop new features, including through aggregated or de-identified analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, third parties, and BADEXY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service), your consent (for sensitive health- related processing and optional features), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

  • With your emergency contacts when an alert is triggered or a test alert is sent — limited to information necessary to convey the alert (e.g., your name, event time, and approximate location if enabled).
  • With service providers that host infrastructure, process payments, deliver SMS/email/push notifications, capture crash reports, or provide analytics, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • For legal reasons when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • In a business transfer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and event data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing pbadew@gmail.com; we will delete or de-identify your personal data within a reasonable period after deletion, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, tax, accounting).

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our backend. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, EEA, and UK residents), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at pbadew@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Notifications & permissions. You can control sensor, location, microphone, notification, and health-data permissions from your device settings at any time. Disabling these permissions may degrade or disable detection features.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at pbadew@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, push-notification providers, payment processors). Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.

13. Contact Us

Questions, requests, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy may be directed to BADEXY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC at pbadew@gmail.com.
